Troubleshooting
Problem
After APPLY of PTF UI90509, messages will no longer get routed to SIS servers.
Following combination of error and warning messages are seen in SIS trace:
AVZ0620S SIS/XCF XCF JOIN FAILED, RC=X'00000008' RS=X'00000008' SIS=CVZC
AVZ0620S SIS/XCF XCF JOIN FAILED, RC=X'00000008' RS=X'00000008' SIS=AVZA
AVZ0620S SIS/XCF XCF JOIN FAILED, RC=X'00000008' RS=X'00000008' SIS=BVZB
AVZ0622T SIS/XCF member waiting SIS/XCF STANDARD INIT for mbr=AAA
AVZ0622T SIS/XCF member waiting SIS/XCF STANDARD INIT for mbr=BBB
Where :
CVZC, AVZA, BVZB are the SISID of members belonging to SISXCFGRP group
AAA and BBB are the "XCF MEMBER" name
Cause
The PLEXID and SISID definition had the same value in the definition of a SYSPLEX and SIS/XCF configuration in the same server
Resolving The Problem
- Defect AVZ-16583 has been filed for this issue.
- AVZ-16583 is fixed by PTF UI90888 in Data Virtualization Manager Server V1.1.
