Unable to stop the Apache ActiveMQ® broker on Linux for IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS® - Web Access

Troubleshooting


Problem

The Apache ActiveMQ® broker does not stop after running the broker.shutdown.sh command for Linux environment.

Symptom

You get the following warnings when you use the broker.shutdown.sh command to stop the broker:
INFO: Regular shutdown not successful, sending SIGKILL to process
INFO: sending SIGKILL to pid 'xxxx'
Java Runtime: IBM Corporation 1.8.0_xxx /opt/ibm/java/jre
