  • When dynamic routing is active, there is a possibility of slow
route selection by tcp connections. Route change may get
triggered frequently for the tcp connections.

route selection by tcp connections. Route change may get
triggered frequently for the tcp connections.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The TCP/IP code has been modified to add check in the
appropiate routine for route UP flag and avoid processing of
route if it is already set to down.
