Error description

• While running the ITX REST Server on Linux for ITX build
  10.1.0.1(160) in production, the com.hcl.hip.ws.fence.Worker
  core dumped with the following exception:

     at java.util.HashMap.put(HashMap.java:623)
     at com.hcl.hip.ws.fence.Worker.doWork(Worker.java:193)
     at com.hcl.hip.ws.fence.Worker.main(Worker.java:58)
  
  From the java core dump, it looks like this was running with the
  default java heap size (512 MB).  We believe this is likely to
  have been a case of too many map threads running for the
  available memory.

Problem conclusion

• The reason behind the problem was memory leak in REST API code.
  This leads to an OutOfMemoryError when a huge number of requests
  are triggered.
