PH52906: /ATYMOD ONLINE CHANGE PROCEDURE RETRIES INCORRECTLY IN MANAGED ACBS ENVIRONMENT

Error description

• In the /ATYMOD online change procedure, IMS Administration Tool
  determines success or failure of the /MOD PREPARE command by a
  DFS message included in the command response.
  However, when Managed ACBs is enabled, IMS Administration Tool
  receives an unexpected DFS3780I message. Therefore, when an
  online change job using the /ATYMOD online change procedure is
  executed in Managed ACBs environment, IMS Administration Tool
  determines that the /MOD PREPARE command is failed and
  terminates the online change job without issuing a /MOD COMMIT
  In addition, if a command retry option is specified, the online
  change job terminates without issuing the /MOD COMMIT command
  after retrying the /MOD PREPARE command.

  The ATYMOD command, which is the automated online change
  processing, fails when IMS managed ACBs is enabled.
  The ATYMOD command issues IMS commands /DIS MODIFY ALL, /MOD
  PREPARE, /DIS MODIFY ALL, /MOD COMMIT, and /DIS MODIFY ALL in
  this sequence.
  In this process flow, IMS replies the DFS3780I message at /MOD
  PREPARE that is the libraries changed successfully message.
  However, IMS Administration Tool does not support the DFS3780I
  message and it recognize /MOD PREPARE failed. IMS Administration
  Tool stops the ATYMOD processing or retries /MOD PREPARE command
  according to the retry option.
  

Problem conclusion

• ATYMOD is changed to recognize the DFS3780I message as success
  of /MOD PREPARE command.
