APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
When publishing a product to a development catalog, if a
separate product exists containing the same API in Staged state,
the API is not updated to Online state.
API cannot be set to Online or Offline until the other product
is either published or a new product containing that API is
staged and then published.

Will see errors like the following in the UI when trying to
updated the API to Online or Offline:
API has not been updated!<div>Only API state change from online
to offline, or offline to online allowed. API state change from
'staged' to 'online' is not allowed.

Local fix

  • While working with development catalogs, if products reference
the same APIs,
you should either, stage and then publish products to the
catalog,
or publish products directly to the catalog.

Problem summary

  • When publishing a product to a development catalog, if a
separate product exists containing the same API in Staged state,
the API is not updated to Online state.

Problem conclusion

  • <p>The fix is targeted for inclusion in IBM API Connect
v10.0.5.3 and v10.0.1.11.</p>
