Problem
Guardium v11.3 bundle patch p375 contains a problem that causes p400 and p500 GPU patch installation to fail.
- UPDATE
- The problem was originally only known to exist for p400, it was discovered to exist for p500 also
- The problem was originally thought to be resolved in p380. The problem is not resolved in p380
- The problem is only caused by p375. If p380 was installed without p375, the problem is not there. Examples:
- v11.3 -> p380 - No problem
- v11.3 -> p375 -> p380 - Problem
- Previous v11.3 bundles are not affected
- The problem remains regardless of any installed sniffer patches
Symptom
If p400 or p500 installation is attempted on top of p375 it will fail, even if p380 was later installed.
If the problem state is present on the appliance, the latest p9997 health check patch shows a warning state.
The health check log has message:

ERROR for p400 and p500 install: p400 and p500 install will fail if specific kpatch-patch rpm is present. Other bundles will succeed
