Summary

There is a cross-site request forgery vulnerability to which the IBM® FlashSystem™ 840 and IBM FlashSystem 900 are susceptible. An exploit of this vulnerability could allow cross-site scripting attacks, Web cache poisoning, and other malicious activities.

CVEID: CVE-2015-7446
DESCRIPTION: IBM Flash System 840 and IBM FlashSystem 900 are susceptible to cross-site request forgery, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. By persuading an authenticated user to visit a malicious Web site, a remote attacker could send a malformed HTTP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to perform cross-site scripting attacks, Web cache poisoning, and other malicious activities.
