Summary
There are unspecified vulnerabilities revealed in the July 2015 Java Critical Patch Update (CPU) which the IBM® FlashSystem™ 840 and IBM FlashSystem 900 are susceptible. An exploit of these vulnerabilities could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information and which could allow a local attacker to obtain information to aid in further attacks against the system.
Vulnerability Details
This bulletin covers the subset of Java SE CVEs published by Oracle as part of their July 2015 Critical Patch Update to which FlashSystem 840 and 900 are susceptible. This bulletin also covers CVE-2015-1931, which describes a vulnerability in the IBM Java Security Components that are shipped as part of the IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition.
