This document describes how to resolve message CPD2712 RC00002080.
Resolving The Problem
Ethernet line at R610 fails to vary on and post message CPD2712 RC00002080. The return code 00002080 means "invalid service parameter" . At R610, there is a new parameter in the line description called serviceability options. This parameter allows serviceability options to be provided and is intended to be used under the direction of a service provider. If this parameter is set to something other than *NONE, it can fail with message CPD2712 return code 00002080 . To resolve this issue, you must change this parameter to *NONE, or delete and re-create the line description
