APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • LDAP user login fails when external group mapping is turned on
and no roles mapping is configured.

Local fix

  • Have at least one role mapping configured when external group
mapping is used

Problem summary

  • If external group mapping has been enabled for LDAP login but no
roles have been mapped throughout the system, user login fails.

Problem conclusion

  • Issue has been fixed in API Connect versions 10.0.1.10 and
10.0.5.2.
