This document describes how to restore the IBM Electronic Service Agent menu objects that reside in QSYS if they have been deleted.
Resolving The Problem
The IBM Electronic Service Agent menu objects reside on Standard set CD B_GROUPx_01. Below is the list of Electronic Service Agent menu objects residing in QSYS that must be restored if they have been deleted.
Note: The recommended method for removing 5798RZG at V5R4M0 is to run the DLTLIB QSVCDRCTR command.
The RSTOBJ commands are as follows:
For R710, load B_GROUPx_01 DVD; then use the following commands:
RSTOBJ OBJ(SERVICE) OBJTYPE(*MENU) SAVLIB(QSYS) DEV(OPTxx) OPTFILE('/Q5770SS1/Q7100024/Q00/Q07')
RSTOBJ OBJ(SERVICECE) OBJTYPE(*MENU) SAVLIB(QSYS) DEV(OPTxx) OPTFILE('/Q5770SS1/Q7100024/Q00/Q07')
where OPTxx is the name of the optical device.
Note: On some CDs, the file can also be Q5770SS1/Q71010yy/Q00/Q07, Q5770SS1/Q71020yy/Q00/Q07, Q5770SS1/Q71030yy/Q00/Q07, or Q5770SS1/Q71040yy/Q00/Q07.
For R720 and R730, load B_GROUPx_01 DVD; then use the following commands:
RSTOBJ OBJ(SERVICE) OBJTYPE(*MENU) SAVLIB(QSYS) DEV(OPTxx) OPTFILE('/Q5770SS1/Q7200024/Q00/Q07')
RSTOBJ OBJ(SERVICECE) OBJTYPE(*MENU) SAVLIB(QSYS) DEV(OPTxx) OPTFILE('/Q5770SS1/Q7200024/Q00/Q07')
where OPTxx is the name of the optical device.
After the objects have been restored, you should run the following commands to change the object owner to QSRVAGT:
CHGOBJOWN OBJ(QSYS/SERVICE) OBJTYPE(*MENU) NEWOWN(QSRVAGT) CUROWNAUT(*REVOKE)
CHGOBJOWN OBJ(QSYS/SERVICECE) OBJTYPE(*MENU) NEWOWN(QSRVAGT) CUROWNAUT(*REVOKE)
Use the DSPOBJAUT command to display the authority of each object. Each object should have the following authorities:
DSPOBJAUT OBJ(QSYS/SERVICE) OBJTYPE(*MENU)
DSPOBJAUT OBJ(QSYS/SERVICECE) OBJTYPE(*MENU)
If the information is incorrect, use EDTOBJAUT command
