Error description
The customer's application has responses with the following Content-Type in the response header: Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8 The actual content in these responses is text but is not formatted like JSON, such as: //OK[1,["06-22-2021"],0,7] When they generate a test with the default options with RPT 10.5, the test shows the response Content as "null". If they turn off the JSON data transform, then the response Content shows the actual text.
Local fix
To work around this, disable the "Convert to JSON format" option in the Available transformers in Window->Preferences->Test->Test Generation and regenerate the test from the recording.
