QRadar: How to set the product version in a support case

Summary

When a new IBM QRadar support case is opened, it is important to select the version of QRadar that is installed.

Steps

  1. Open a case from the IBM Support page at https://www.ibm.com/mysupport.
  2. Complete the case form.

  3. After the Product Manufacturer and Product section are completed, the Product Version can be selected by using the drop-down menu. In the Product Version menu, select the version that best matches the version of IBM QRadar that you are opening up the case for. For example, if you have IBM QRadar version 7.4.3 FP3, select 7.4.3 in the drop-down menu.
    Version selectNote: As of IBM QRadar 7.5.0, IBM QRadar changed to Update Packs to differentiate the versions. For IBM QRadar that has 7.5.0 installed, select version 7.5.0.X where X is the Update Pack that is installed. For example, 7.5.0 UP3 = 7.5.0.3

  4. When the Product Version is selected, complete the case form, and press the Submit case button at the end of the form to submit the case.
