SQL RETURN STATUS - NATIVE ERROR CODE (-171) - DVS_SERVER: INVALID SUBCOMMAND NAME - SQL_SUCCESS

Troubleshooting


Problem

In Data Virtualization Manager(DVM) Studio version 1.1.216 gives error code -171  when Data under SQL is expanded.

Symptom

Diagnosing The Problem

  1. Set SQLENGDFLTCCSID value to 930 in server IN00.
  2. Start DVM studio version 1.1.216.
  3. Expand data node under SQL tree in studio.

  5.  An error code -171 can be seen in server console.

Resolving The Problem

This issue is fixed with DVM studio version 1.1.228 or higher and it is available in IBM FIX CENTRAL.
