Troubleshooting
Problem
After an upgrade to 7.0.2, users cannot rename some reviews despite having the correct permissions. Re-creating reviews in 7.0.2 does allow the newly created review to be renamed.
This problem has been reproduced with environments upgraded from 6.0.6 iFix026 to 7.0.2 iFix016 as well as environments upgraded from 6.0.6.1 iFix028 to 7.0.2 iFix017
Steps to Reproduce:
In v6:
- Create 2 users: M and T
- Create a project and add those 2 users as members. Ensure that user M has Administrator permissions.
- Log in as user M to the project
- Create an artifact that will be reviewed
- Create 8 reviews as follows:
- Review with both users M and T assigned / Status: Not Started / No Review Results submitted
- Review with both users M and T assigned / Status: Started / No Review Results submitted
- Review with both users M and T assigned / Status: Done / With Review Results submitted
- Review with both users M and T assigned / Status: Finalized / With Review Results submitted
- Review with only user M assigned / Status: Not Started / No Review Results submitted
- Review with only user M assigned / Status: Started / No Review Results submitted
- Review with only user M assigned / Status: Done / With Review Results submitted
- Review with only user M assigned / Status: Finalized / With Review Results submitted
Upgrade the environment to 7.0.2.
In v7.0.2
- Log in as user M to the project
- Try to rename each of the 8 upgraded reviews
Expected Results:
All reviews can be renamed
Actual Results:
Only some reviews cannot be renamed:

The error in the UI is:
The review state cannot be changed.
ID CRRRW7309E To change the review state, your user account must have the correct license and permissions. Log out and log in again to confirm whether the role for your account has changed, for example, from administrator to commenter. Ask a server administrator to confirm that the required license is assigned to your account and that sufficient licenses are installed and activated on the server and have not expired.
