Problem conclusion
This problem is fixed in 5.1.6.1 To see all Spectrum Scale APARs and their respective Fix solutions refer to page: https://public.dhe.ibm.com/storage/spectrumscale/spectrum_scale_ apars.html Benefits of the solution: Nodeclass updates taken into account, also Failover works faster for node outages. Work Around: As a workaround a "mmsysmoncotrol restart" does also force updates and pending failover actions Problem trigger: Using CLUSTER_PERF_SENSOR_CANDIDATES nodeclass to control which nodes are considered to get that role and then updating that nodeclass. Failover scenario like mmshutdown on the current CLUSTER_PERF_SENSOR node.
