In ClearCase, utfXXcleardiffmerge is not returning an error when comparing UTF file/files with more than 32,000 bytes in a line on Windows

Troubleshooting

Problem

In IBM® Rational ClearCase, utfXXcleardiffmerge should return the following error message when trying to work on a file with more than 32,000 bytes in a line:

utfXXcleardiffmerge/afd: Error: "<File name>" is not a 'UTF-XX file': it contains a line exceeding 32000 bytes.
Use a different type manager (such as compressed file).

However, the error is not displayed on the Windows console.
