Troubleshooting
Problem
Version 2.6.2 of the JDBC driver for IBM Cloud Data Engine (previously called Cloud SQL) is not compatible with Cognos Analytics 11.2.x.
If the driver is added to the <cognos>\drivers folder, it will result in SQL statements being sent to IBM Cloud Data Engine, which it does not support.
Symptom
Cognos Analytics dashboards and reports, which were working throw IBM Data Engine exception errors regarding SQL constructs it does not support.
