Troubleshooting


Problem

A known issue is reported on VMware vCenter Server for IBM Cloud Pak System about the expired data-encipherment store certificate that does not get renewed along with other certificate renewal processes.

Symptom

The following symptoms can be seen when the data-encipherment store certificate expired on the VMware vCenter Server for IBM Cloud Pak System:
  • Service49 and Service78 are seen going down.
  • The VMware vCenter Server fails to start with the expired certificates.
