Summary
Before attempting Fix Pack upgrades it is highly recommended to disable the automatic startup option on all Services, except for the CommandLineManager, ImpactDatabase, and EventProcessor Services. Disabling the services speeds up the upgrade process and also ensures that the cluster member is not processing events during the upgrade. Use the following command line method to make quick, easy, and accurate work of disabling and re-enabling those Impact Services which do not need to be running during the upgrade process.
