PH50838: ZD&T PROVISIONING ERROR CODE 31126: THE USER PERFORMING THE DEPLOYMENT DOES NOT BELONG TO LINUX GROUP ZPDT

Error description

• Error can be found in ZD&T versions 13.01 to 13.3.3
  
  Using the following specifications will result in error "Code
  31126:  The user performing the deployment does not belong to
  Linux group zpdt".  This error occurs when attempting to
  provision an instance using the target system's root user id.
  
  Specifications:
  1)  Add Target Environment ->  Under "System Configuration"
  select "Client Managed"
  
  2)  On the target machine:
      Created id:  ibmsys1
      Created group:  zpdt
      Add ibmsys1 to zpdt group
  
  3) Go to: Provision Instance
     a) Select any image to provision
     b)  Authentication Type:  Credential
     c)  User id:  root
     d)  Password:  enter the root password
     e)  Deployment Directory:  /home/ibmsys1
     f)  Set passwords for:  Define IBMUSER credentials
     g)  Click Provision Instance
  

Local fix

• On the target system add the root user id to the zpdt group that
  was created.
