Problem
Users try to open a form in controller web and it is blank. Trying to insert or import a file with a negative value gives a controller web error and then causes the form to be blank.
Symptom
If a user tries to import a file or to add a decimal number in contorller web form, they see the following error:
Attempting to open a form where decimal values are inserted from controller Classic, through controller link, or before updating the form appears blank in controller web.
Opening the form will show the following error in the web log found in the directory, C:\ProgramFiles\ibm\cognos\ccr_64\fcmweb\wlp\usr\servers\fcm.web\logs, after reproducing the error shows the entry:
"ERROR | [com.ibm.cognos.fcm.web.ui.core.GlobalDefaultExceptionHandler] Request failed: Not a number:..."
