Info Letter: IBM infrastructure changes requiring client firewall and proxy updates for TSSC/IMC for Call Home

Description

IBM is planning to implement infrastructure changes on April 14^th, 2023, as well as in 2024, resulting in required changes to IP addresses used for Call Home.
Client action may be required to ensure uninterrupted Call Home for TSSC/IMC.

ECC Edge:

¹⁾ Fix Acquisition through port 80 or 443 as configured per client preference
²⁾ IP address change planned April 14^th, 2023, replacing the prior IP address
³⁾ IP address change planned in 2024 with no final date set yet
Note: All communication is initiated outbound only, with no need to allow inbound connections.

Legacy ECC:

Note: It is highly recommended to switch the TSSC/IMC configuration to ECC Edge, as it simplifies the network configuration significantly by only requiring access to a single hostname / three IP addresses. ECC Edge was introduced in 2014 and has been the recommended configuration for many years.
