Problem conclusion
This problem is fixed in 5.1.5 PTF 1 To see all Spectrum Scale APARs and their respective fix solutions refer to page https://public.dhe.ibm.com/storage/spectrumscale/spectrum_scale_ apars.html Benefits of the solution: Fixed the code in VFS module to avoid the problem. Tested the vfs.fruit module test cases in smbtorture test suite and check that they pass. Work Around: None Problem trigger: This is applicable only for fruit module, i.e. Mac OS clients. Problem can occur when accessing streams in VFS module where vfs_acl_xattr subroutine gets used.
