On 30 September 2022, IBM released IBM® Maximo® Application Suite Manage Component patch 8.3.5.

Manual Change
Message Tracking When menu sidebar is disabled (mxe.webclient.systemNavBar set to 0), the action menu does not appear in the Message Tracking application.
IJ40096 Relationships The relationship for WORKLOG.PERSON is incorrect.
IJ40483 Database configuration Running DBC scripts updates MAXATTRIBUTE.COLUMNNAME to match MAXATTRIBUTE.ATTRIBUTENAME. As a result, the application does not refresh.
IJ40767 Work Center Configuration Failure Cause and Remedy can be populated with values from the wrong Work Order.
Manual Changes
APAR Change instructions
This APAR can be replicated only if the value of Maximo System property mxe.webclient.systemNavBar is set to 0. In other words, there is no side menu bar. The Action menu is meant to be displayed in Message tracking application.

To perform the manual fix:
  1. Open Application Designer.
  2. Browse to the Message Tracking application (INTMSGTRK)
  3. Export the application XML by clicking the Export Application Definition icon on the menu bar
  4. Save it to a file.
  5. Edit the XML file with a text editor. Replacing the section
  6. <include id="pageHeaderNoAction" />
    with
    <include id="pageHeader" />
  7. Save the file.
  8. In Application Designer, make sure the Message Tracking application is open.
  9. Click the toolbar icon Import Application Definition.
  10. A dialog window appears. Click Select File.
  11. Browse to the modified xml file. Select it. Click OK.
  12. Log out of Maximo. Log back into Maximo.
  13. Verify the Action Menu displays Synchronous Message Tracking on the List page.
