以下の環境でVIOSを使用しています。

VIOS V2.2.2.2 FP26 SP01
AIX V6.1 TL08 SP02

現在、VIOS のメンテナンスを予定していますが、作業後の無影響確認方法を検討しています。

VIOS の作業後、その上で稼働している VIOC の稼働確認を、VIOS から実行する方法があれば教えていただけないでしょうか？

VIOS において、VIOC の稼動を確認するための特別な方法は提供されていません。

単なる死活確認が目的であれば、VIOSから ping コマンドの実行や、あるいは ssh コマンドでログインしたり、OS の稼動をある程度確認できるようなコマンドを ssh で実行したりなどが考えられます。

また、HMCやIVMの管理画面による稼動状況の確認もご検討ください。

以下はご質問の意図とは異なるかもしれませんが、VIOS の topas コマンドによる VIOC モニタリングの例です。
CPUやメモリー、ネットワークなどのリソース状況確認が主目的となりますが、VIOCの活動状況を見ることが可能です。
