LSF sets the stack limit to unlimited for a job by default

Troubleshooting

Problem

Even if the stack limit for the submission user is not unlimited, when that user submits a job to LSF, LSF will change the stack limit to unlimited for the job. Example: User's stack limit outside of LSF [user1@host1 ]$ ulimit -a | grep stack stack size (kbytes, -s) 10240 User's stack limit while running the job inside of LSF [user1@host1]$ bsub -I ulimit -a | grep stack <> <> stack size (kbytes, -s) unlimited
