Troubleshooting
Problem
The DSPAUTPATH command in QMGTOOLS allows user to collect the authorities of each directory in an IFS path and place results in a .txt file.
Diagnosing The Problem
The DSPAUTPATH command in QMGTOOLS will gather authorities for each directory in a specified path, and output the data to a text file.
Resolving The Problem
1. If the QMGTOOLS toolkit has not yet been installed, you should refer to the following document for information on how to download and install the QMGTOOLS toolkit on your IBM i server. The following URL is contains additional information.

2. Add QMGTOOLS to the your library list (ADDLIBLE QMGTOOLS) and type GO MG.
3. Take Option 12. Verify Build Date and version is January 2025 or later.
4. If the library needs to be updated, please follow http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas8N1020468
5. Example: DSPAUTPATH IFSPATH('/qibm/userdata/httpa/admin/conf/admin-cust.conf') OUTFILE('/tmp/PathAuthority.txt')
6. The authorities are displayed in the specified output file. The above example is /tmp/PathAuthority.txt
