Unable to log in to ITDS (IBM Tivoli Directory Server) Console Admin.

Troubleshooting


Problem

Unable to log in to the Tivoli Directory Server GUI.  The following error is received:
Message Text:
User has reached to maximum number of failed logins.
Delete ids_acc.lock file and try login again. 

Resolving The Problem

To resolve this issue delete the following file:
 
/qibm/userdata/os/admininst/admin2/wlp/usr/servers/admin2/ids_acc.lck


Once the file is removed attempt to log in again using the default username/password:
superadmin/secret

If this default password does not work you might need to reset it to the default, refer to the following document to reset the password:
