Is the PAC process the possible root cause of Active Directory user locking?

Problem

One AD user is locking, the AD account is aduser1, the PAC server is PACSRV checking the secure log on PAC server: ============ # grep to103168 secure|tail -1 Feb 8 19:53:31 PACSRV java[41027]: pam_vas: Authentication for user: account: service: reason: ============ The AD user "aduser1" seems be locked because of repetitive authenticating faulures (each 5 times).
