LI82737: THE PORTAL BACKUP STATUS BECOMES WARNING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When the number of sites is too many the status message of the
  backup exceeds the limit of 32768 chars and the backup resources
  are complete with a status of Warning.
  
  The APIC operator log would show message like
  "status.conditions.message in body should be at most 32768 chars
  long". The customers ignore the Warning status for now until we
  get a fix out because technically the backups are complete
  successfully and uploaded to the remote server.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  emoji">the backups CRs complete with Warning status because the
  status message exceeds the maxLength of 32768 chars due to the
  high number of sites</span>
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in API Connect v10.0.5.1 and v10.0.1.9. Now the backup CR
  will contain truncated information when there are a large number
  of sites backed up, so that the portal CR does not enter Warning
  state.
