CP4S: How to restart Data Explorer and Universal Data Insight?

Summary

This article instructs how to restart Data Explorer and Universal Data Insight services.

Steps

  1. Into the Red Hat OpenShift CLI cluster, under the Cloud Pak for Security namespace restart the udi pods by running the command: 
    oc delete pods `oc get pods | grep udi | awk '{print $1}'`
    Note: The instruction deletes the current pods and creates a new set of pods with different identifiers.
  2. Check pods status: 
    oc get pods | grep udi
    Example: 
    [user@myhost ~]# oc get pods | grep udi
