IBM Watson Speech Services Cartridge for IBM Cloud Pak for Data is vulnerable to vulnerable to arbitrary code execution in MS Visual Studio , caused by a flaw in the Git for Visual Studio (CVE-2021-21300). Git for Visual Studio is used in the base operating system by IBM Watson Speech. Please read the details for remediation below.

Vulnerability Details

CVEID: CVE-2021-21300
DESCRIPTION: Microsoft Visual Studio could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a flaw in the Git for Visual Studio. By persuading a victim to open specially-crafted content, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the victim.
