Summary

Maximo allows the use of Failure Code hierarchy associations on Work Orders to document the affected component, the cause, and the remedy that was used to complete the work. The following procedure will describe how to configure a hierarchy of Failure Codes so that the User can populate the most appropriate component, cause, and remedy on a Work Order based on which Failure Class is associated with the Asset.
