Using gateway-peering persistence location local can cause DataPower Virtual OVA to have low or Zero encrypted space.

Troubleshooting

Problem

DataPower reporting encrypted space low or zero in file system causing the GUI inaccessible or unresponsive.

It can also cause "Low audit disk space" error.

Symptom

  1. The Gateway peering object persistence location being set to local on DataPower OVA form factor.
  2. The Gateway peering consuming large space in the form of flash files, which leads the encrypted space to go too low and eventually zero.
  3. Here is an example of what file system looks like after encrypted space becomes zero:

    idg# show filesystem

     Free encrypted space: 0 Mbytes
    Total encrypted space: 14896 Mbytes
     Free temporary space: 1942 Mbytes
    Total temporary space: 2048 Mbytes
      Free internal space: 3071 Mbytes
     Total internal space: 3072 Mbytes
