Troubleshooting
Problem
A fixpack tool used to determine the state of a host fails during Stage 7 to identify a host as actively hosting Db2 partitions. This leads to downstream issues where hosts that should not be quiesced are quiesced which can lead to unexpected outages. This is a known issue, KIG00497, that is related to errors in the Tivoli System Automation (TSA) command 'lsrg -m' failing to return the correct state of resources when a node removes itself from the domain. There is no impact on the 'lssam' command and database resources continue to work. See KIG00497 in the Known Issues technical note for more information.
