Container resource snapshot and backup fails due to installation of OADP 1.0.3

Troubleshooting


Problem

If Red Hat OpenShift API for Data Protection (OADP) operator 1.0.3 is installed, namespace-scoped resource backup fails.

Symptom

You see the following errors in the job log:

CTGGK3052 [baas-spp-agent-route-baas.apps.lncp4docp.lncloud.local] 4 out of 5 snapshots succeeded. Warning
CTGGA1938 [baas-spp-agent-route-baas.apps.lncp4docp.lncloud.local] Backup status was reported as partial. Error
CTGGA2668 Backup failed for Resource lncp4docp-cluster:rob:resources:The backup operation of resources from namespace rob failed with Failed. (sppbackup-k8s-34ee3cf2-f72c-4f35-a83e-b96e3cea5096) Backup failed for this Resource due to encountering an error. Less Summary
CTGGA2468 Total number of PVCs protected by this job:4/4. Error
CTGGA2667 Total number of resources not protected by this job: 1/1 This message is for informational purposes only. Less Error
CTGGA2471 Following are the PVCs/Resources/Applications not protected by this job. Error
