IJ40573: AFM COS FILESET GOES TO UNMOUNTED STATE DUE TO DEADLOCK DURING T

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An object client accesses the GPFS filesystem via minio
  (minio server runs on this fileset). This fileset is an
  gpfs://afm mount of a remote filesystem.
  While performaing object "puts", the AFM sees remote file
  system panic and errors are seen at the client performing
  the object operation.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Deadlock while accessing the data from
  AFM cascading relationship
  filesets because of token conflicts if the home fileset
  is AFM+COS enabled.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem is fixed in 5.1.4 PTF 1
