Abstract
IBM is implementing infrastructure changes that might affect the way you upload files to ECuRep and download APARs, tools, and fix packs.
Content
For z/TPF, z/TPFDF, and TPF Operations Server, you might need to add an IP address to your firewall to connect to websites such as the transfer.boulder.ibm.com website to download APARs and tools.
For TPF Toolkit, you might need to add an IP address to your firewall to download fix packs from Fix Central.
For all products in the TPF family, you might need to add an IP address to your firewall to upload files to ECuRep. In addition, connections that use an unsecured transport protocol or anonymous login will not be permitted.
The time between 4 June 2022 and 31 August 2022 is a transition period; during that time, the current and new IP addresses are supported. The current IP address will be disabled by 31 August 2022 so you must complete all firewall updates and use secure transport protocols by that date.
For more information and specific instructions regarding secure transport protocols, IP addresses, port numbers and proxy servers, see Unsecured and anonymous FTP to upload IBM documentation will be disabled and Preparing customer firewalls and proxies for the upcoming infrastructure changes – Call Home, Testcase Data Exchange and Secure File Transfer connections.
