IBM Event Streams follows the Continuous Delivery Lifecycle Policy
Overview
The Continuous Delivery Lifecycle Policy allows some product-specific flexibility while still setting a consistent base expectation for support. The following details provide additional information specific to IBM Event Streams.
Important support policy details
Versioning Model
IBM Event Streams follows a loose semantic versioning scheme. When the number to the right of the decimal changes (typical release indicator), it simply represents an update package. Because of this, the lifecycle is not reset by delivery of these updates. The update identifier, type, general availability date and the availability of fixes is shown in the table below.
Additional policy details
IBM Event Streams:
- Will provide support for a minimum of 2 years
- Provide an option for a support extension after the end of support date for a minimum of 1 year
Please see the Continuous Delivery Lifecycle Policy for additional details.
