ABSTRACT: AFM COS fileset hang because GW node is marked as inactive Error Description: When a node is specified as GW using "mmchnode --gateway" it's wrongly marked as inactive GW node, so access to all AFM filesets served by this GW node will hang. This could be recovered by restarting GPFS on this GW node Reported in: 5.1.2 on all platforms Known Impact: All access to AFM filesets served by this GW node will hang. Verification steps: N/A Recovery action: restart GPFS on the newly assigned GW node. Local Fix: N/A

Deadlock after changing the AFM gateway node using mmchnode command as the node change is not propagated correctly to all the nodes in the cluster.
