Error description

  • ABSTRACT:
AFM COS fileset hang because GW node is marked as
    inactive

    Error Description:
When a node is specified as GW using "mmchnode --gateway"
it's wrongly marked as inactive GW node, so
access to all AFM filesets served by this GW node will

    GPFS on this GW node

    Reported in:
    5.1.2 on all platforms

    Known Impact:
All access to AFM filesets served by this GW node will
    hang.

    Verification steps:
    N/A

restart GPFS on the newly assigned GW node.

    Local Fix:
    N/A

Local fix

correctly to all the nodes in the cluster.

Problem conclusion

  • This problem is fixed in 5.1.2 PTF 5
