Error description

  • The Cache Refresh Service does not remove user-defined
properties from the internal cache that have been deleted using
the Customization UI. However, the Cache Refresh Service does
remove them if the properties are associated with a user-defined
property file on the file system.

    Problem Description:
The Cache Refresh Service does not remove user-defined
properties from the internal cache when the property has been
deleted using the Customization UI. However, the Cache Refresh
Service does remove them from the cache if the property is
defined in a property file on the file system.

Problem conclusion

  • Resolution Summary:
The Cache Refresh Service now correctly updates the internal
cache and removes the deleted properties. If the property is
defined in property file on the file system, it must be removed
from the file or commented out. If the property is defined in
property file in the database, it must be deleted using the
Customization UI. If the property is defined in both, then the
property must be deleted from both before removing the property
    from the internal cache.
