Problem

Your LU62 connections are not working after upgrading your CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) region. You receive messages: DFHRS2150 ' Invalid Data ...' DFHZC0161 ' CNOS command .... failed with code FBB1 ' DFHAC2236 ' Transaction CLS1 abend ASQC '

Symptom

DFHRS2150 Invalid data has been received during the resynchronization sequence on session from remote system.

DFHZC0161 CNOS command for modename to node connection has failed with code X'FBB1'.
X'FBB1' The send command for the CNOS command or CNOS reply failed.

DFHAC2236 Transaction CLS1 abend ASQC in program term. Updates to local recoverable resources will be backed out

Note: The CICS Messages and Codes manual indicates that an abendASQC only occurs for CLS2. This was for CLS1.

Cause

Transaction definition for CLS1 pointing to program DFHLUP

Resolving The Problem

Change the transaction definition for CLS1 to point to program DFHZLS1. If you have a program of DFHLUP, your transaction definition is pointing to an old definition (in this case CICS/ESA V3.3) for CLS1. If you use the definitions supplied in group DFHISC, the program will be correct for CLS1.
