"You are not authorized to change this workspace" error when the bootstrapProcessServerData command is being run

Troubleshooting


Problem

After creating a new deployment environment, you see the error "You are not authorized to change this workspace" when the bootstrapProcessServerData command is run.

Symptom

The following is an example of the error you might see in bootstrapProcesServerData.<cluster_name>_<timestamp>.log:

00000001 TWASAntTasksH I UserIds: [User.1002]

00000001 TWASAntTasksH I UserName: deadmin
 

00000001 ImportFileHel E CWLLG2015E: An unexpected runtime exception occurred. See exception for more details. Error: You are not authorized to change this workspace.

com.lombardisoftware.client.security.AuthorizationDeniedException: You are not authorized to change this workspace
 

You also see entries like these earlier in the log file before the error:

00000001 InitialDataHe I com.ibm.bpm.bootstrap.InitialDataHelper isTableEmpty LSW_USR_XREF is empty = false
00000001 InitialDataHe I com.ibm.bpm.bootstrap.InitialDataHelper isAuthorUser isAuthorUserExist=false
00000001 InitialDataHe I com.ibm.bpm.bootstrap.InitialDataHelper loadAdminUserData Table [LSW_USR_XREF] is not empty, do not init users.
 

Note: If you do not rebuild your system correctly to solve the problem, during later upgrades, you might notice errors like these when the DBUpgrade command is run:

    at com.lombardisoftware.tools.dbupgrade.UpgradeDatabase.upgradeStandardDatabase(UpgradeDatabase.java:227)
