Question & Answer

Question

Why is the End Date different between Graphical Scheduling and Graphical Scheduling - Large Projects for same queries bringing the same work?

Cause

Tasks are used as part of the Work Orders

Answer

Graphical Scheduling is a memory application and it loads all the data in memory in order to display the Graphical view. Children records are checked in order to consider duration and dates to draw the Gantt chart.

The parent work have the task duration.

Graphical Scheduling Large Project is a paging application and it queries directly the database in order to display the records .The dates will be taken into account when drawing the bar, not the duration, as the first parameter usage in Graphical Scheduling memory application.
