Troubleshooting
Problem
The EQQLTMOO job (MODIFY LTP for ONE OCCURRENCE) does NOT recalculate ANY DEPENDENCIES. Thus when this job is used to add an application which has EXTERNAL DEPENDENCIES, the LTP will be corrupted with invalid dependency information.
Resolving The Problem
Use "MODIFY ALL" (EQQLTMOA) instead of EQQLTMOO to add occurrences if dependency checking is needed. The following is quoted from the "Managing the Workload" manual, chapter 13 (Producing the Long-term plan), section "Modifying the Long-Term Plan in Batch"
"If you perform MODIFY for a single application, dependencies are not resolved".
If a MOD-ONE (EQQLTMOO) is run by mistake, the LTP can be corrected to include all the correct EXTERNAL DEPENDENCIES simply by running a MOD-ALL (EQQLTMOA) job.
