Troubleshooting
Problem
After an upgrade to Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 or higher, connections to an Active Directory namespace fail if the Active Directory server is secured with a self-signed certificate
Symptom

ERROR, "['AD_NAMESPACE']", "AAA-LPS-0005 Unable to communicate with legacy namespace server, it may have become unavailable. Please try again later."

FAILURE, "['AD_NAMESPACE']", "Failed."
