Problem
Report with multiple data containers such as Crosstabs and Lists takes a long time to run when reports with similar data volumes complete in less time.
Symptom
Report takes long time to run in Cognos Analytics, from 1 to 2 hours depending on which prompt answers are used when running the report. Observing the SQL being executed on the database, it is completed in 10 to 15 minutes after report is kicked off, meaning Cognos Analytics is processing the report many times longer than the query executed on the database.
