Unable to log in to Filenet Content Platform Engine (CPE) on Cloud Pak for Automation (CP4A) when using replicas

Troubleshooting


Problem

If there are replicas (more than one for CPE and IBM Content Navigator (ICN) deployments in the custom CR YAML file), there might be errors when attempting to log in to the Administrative Console for Content Engine (ACCE) or the ICN console by using the Ingress URL. It works when attempting to log in directly by using the POD IP addresses.

Symptom

When scaling up the CPE deployment and running it with two or more pods, the Ingress/Service combination seems to distribute the requests from the browser to the two CPEs and the login to ACCE fails. It's the same for ICN.
